The Blekinge County Museum is centrally located in Karlskrona at Fisktorget, from where the boats that traffic the archipelago leave. Exhibitions about the county are held in the row of houses along Fisktorget. Various temporary exhibitions are held here as well. The grounds of the museum is the site for all types of concerts, events and happenings.

Partners role within project Art Line:
Blekinge County Museum will organize, plan and give form to an exhibition in the storytelling project (Telling The Baltic) and co-operate with partners, storytellers and artists. The exhibition will be produced in mixed media. Blekinge County Museum will work on practical and technical matters in producing the exhibition. The technicians and the producer of the exhibition will travel to have the exhibition set up in Germany, Poland and for the final phase on the Stena Line ferry. Marketing and information material will be produced . Blekinge County Museum will as Lead Beneficiary have the responsibility for project management and communication strategy. They will keep and extend the network of co-operators in the South Baltic-region, maintain and develop the digital art platform with multiannual projects and events, and keep a memory-bank of the stories collected within project Telling for future exhibitions and research. They will arrange seminars and workshops for the South Baltic-region on the Stena Line ferry during the forthcoming 5 years after the end of Art Line, together with Laznia Centre for Contemporary Art.
