Event info

Location:
Nida Art Colony
Dates:
01 - 05 April 2012

Participants of Telling the Baltic meet up by the Curionian Split, close to the dunes of the Baltic Sea.

The workshop at Nida Art Colony is the second workshop within project Telling the Baltic.
Curators, artists, storytellers- and collectors from Kaliningrad and Lithuania, and curators and artists from Poland and Sweden, will gather to discuss collected stories; how to conceptually and practically present the stories and, as well, the artworks in spe.

Methods for interpreting collected narratives will be discussed and agreed upon.
The purpose of the workshop is also to develop collaborative contact between project participants, and to promote exchange between the artists.

The skies above the Curonian Lagoon are, at this time of year, filled with migrating birds.
Excursions will be made to catch a sight of their flight.
